Instructions:
- Heat the oven to 200°C/400°F/Gas Mark 6.
- Snap off the bottom of each asparagus spear and place on a non stick baking tray. Peel the mushrooms leaving the stalks on and slice the tomatoes in half and place them both in the tray alongside the asparagus.
- Lightly spray the asparagus spears and mushrooms with the cooking oil spray then place the tray in the oven for approximately 15–20 minutes.
- 8 minutes before the asparagus, mushrooms and tomatoes are cooked place the gammon steak on a hot grill and pour a teaspoon of honey over it.
- Grill for 5 minutes, turn the steak, pour another teaspoon of honey over and grill for a further 3 minutes. \
- Serve on a warm plate with the thick slice of wholegrain bread.
