Chocolate Oats and Fig Muesli

Ingredients:

  • 30 grams rolled oats
  • 1 large fig, chopped
  • 100 mls low-fat natural bio yoghurt
  • 14 grams chocolate whey protein powder

Instructions:

  1. Place the oats and chopped fig (leaving 1 teaspoon aside for garnishing) in bowl with ¼ cup of water; mix thoroughly, cover and leave in the refrigerator for 2 hours to overnight. \
  2. When ready to eat, mix the yoghurt thoroughly with the whey protein powder and then stir through the soaked oats and fig.
  3. Garnish with the remaining chopped fig.

Chef’s suggestions:

  • For dairy-free, replace the bio yoghurt with soy or coconut yoghurt and use a vegan protein powder instead of whey protein powder.
